Firstly we don’t track or store personal user data on the site or in our database since this is more a wiki and news site. It is of no interest of us to store your personal data, so we don’t bother. We have limited space anyway. It is not possible log-in with any of visitors user data, email or passwords on the site.

The plugin used on the page to help us show which articles are most visited, the type of browser most in use and where readers originate from regionally, i.e so we can see if readers are mostly from US or other regions with different languages. IP-Addresses are hashed to hide their true number. We cannot pinpoint where visitors are located other than regional such a s a country.
Remember Google also tracks such data and statistics on users when they are searching for related topics to this page and also access the page through the Google search engine.
E-mail with us
User who sends us E-mails are responsible to not send us private and sensitive date. Any such data sent to us will be treated confidentially and deleted promptly. Users can always contact us at info@mercebenz123.com to request their old E-mails to be deleted from the server.
We clear out old E-mails after maximum 2 years of storage on the E-mail server. We use e-mail servers from Dreamhost.
How long do we store data and who can access it?
We don’t store personalized data except comments and analytics. It is stored until articles are deleted, clean-up of statistics or requests have been asked for deletion. Maximum years are 5 years in practice due to updates of the entire site.
Only the owner of the web page have access to the database and file storage, at the moment this is 1 person.
What rights you have over your data?
If you left comments or sent us E-mails, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
